Denver Chalk Festival 2016: Skull Kid

THE DENVER CHALK ART FESTIVAL IS THIS WEEKEND!!  I CAN'T WAIT!!! So, this picture is actually an entire year old and I forgot to post it.   UNTIL NOW! I made this chalk drawing of Skull Kid last year for the Denver Chalk Art Festival. I made this drawing, with the help of my mom and friends, completely out of chalk on pavement.

What is the Denver Chalk Art Festival you may ask? The Chalk Festival is a two day, free to attend, art event on Larimer Square in Denver, Colorado. Over the weekend numerous artists from across the nation come to create works of art on the streets of downtown Denver. The goal is to finish your piece by the end of the weekend and to wow the crowds.

This year is going to be my 8TH YEAR as a part of the Chalk Fest and I am going to be drawing a Sonic the Hedgehog inspired mural!  So if you're in Colorado, come on down to the Chalk Festival June 3-4 to see some amazing artwork!
